Sulbach-Rosenberger Zeitung über Licht für Tibet

Der Verein „Licht für Tibet“ setzt sich für Tibeter ein, die im Exil leben, vermittelt Patenschaften und finanziert Hilfsprojekte in Nordindien.

Der Verein wurde 2009 gegründet. Mittlerweile haben alle Gründungsmitglieder ihr Herz an Tibet verloren und sind der Auffassung, jeder Mensch auf dieser Welt hat das Recht, sein Leben selbstverantwortlich zu führen, satt zu werden, nicht hungern zu müssen und eine Schulausbildung zu genießen.

Dies alles möchte der Verein fördern. Der Verein „Licht für Tibet“ hat durch sein Engagement viele Paten, Helfer und Sponsoren gewonnen, die seine Projekte ideell und finanziell unterstützen.

Alle Mitglieder arbeiten ehrenamtlich, weshalb alle Spenden zu 100 Prozent bei den Flüchtlingen ankommen. In den Siedlungen und Lagern in Nordindien wirkt Lama Tendar, der dem Verein bei Auswahl und Betreuung der Patenkinder hilft. Über ihn wird der Kontakt zu den Hilfsbedürftigen intensiviert und überwacht.

Dear friends and supporters of the „Licht für Tibet“ Association,

Our association was founded in November 2009. The aim is to support Tibetans living in exile in India.
Mainly children but also elderly and sick people are supported. We attach great importance to help in the areas of education, health and alleviation of the greatest distress. So far 67 people have been supported by our sponsors. With the Membership fees and donations we will help other people in need.

All donations, as well as the sponsorship fees, will be handed over personally. The cost for travel to India, etc. are paid privately. This ensures that 100% of the donations are received by the people. It is also important for us that the godparents and their godchildren get in touch and establish a personal contact (per e-mail or letter).
Of course, the godparents can also take part in the trips to hand over the donations and visit their godchildren personally.

We currently need help for our new project, a kindergarden (nursery school) in South India. The roof of the building is in a very desolate state, so that most lessons cannot be given for the last months. There will be financial requirements of € 5,000 for the building repairs. The teacher has been supported by the association since three months.
